I’m putting up another page, because I see how cluttered my sidebar is! Kind of crazy, actually. ![]()
THIS SUMMER:
The Lord willing (and my husband too!) I foresee many changes in my own teaching style, leaning very directly on Charlotte Mason’s methods. I see that my son/s would both benefit very much from a gentler way of learning, with lots of hands on nature study and less forced writing. Public school is not the best setting for them.
Both boys are currently working through McGuffey’s readers– D1 is reading the First Reader, and D2 is reading the Primer. (Links to the fully downloadable books at Google Books!) I actually loved these so much that I recently purchased hardback editions on Amazon.com, so now we have the whole set!
